It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Spring has Sprung and Air Max Day is here. If you are not aware the Air Max debut in 1987 and has such a string of hits throughout the decades. One of my favorite silhouettes of the sneaker is the Air Max 95. This was the sneaker that made me fall in love with neon with shades of grey. I’ve had soo many pairs of this sneaker over the years, it is always one that I will always come back to in the right colorway. Since it is Air Max Day, I am sharing my favorites in no particular order

The Air Max 95 was the one that made me want to rock bold and colorful sneakers. It opened me up to wear more color and try different color combos. When it was announced late last year that the OG colorway of the neon green was dropping, I made sure to try to get a pair. The sneaker gods were with me, cause I actually scored a W on the SNKRS app. For anyone that knows, Nike SNKRS app will hand out disappointment after disappointment- but every once in a while you will be able to score. These sold out rather quickly, but you can try to get a pair from a reseller. I linked one that still has some in stock. Since I wear a woman’s size 8-8.5, I can still wear kids sneakers, so I am wearing a kids size 7.

I love wearing suits with sneakers, so when I bought this one from Eloquii I knew that I was going to rock it with the Air Max 95 OG. The pleated front pant is quite roomy in the leg so its definitely thick thigh friendly. When it comes to my pants, if there is no stretch I go for the size 18, and these work well with having ample enough room in the thigh without me worrying about a gapping waistline. For the blazer, I went with a size 22 cause I wanted it roomier that my other blazers. Lately I have been loving the slouchier look of a bigger blazer and with this longline version it gives off some major 90’s vibes. I went with my trusted tee from Torrid and these cute resin earrings from Baublebar.

I remember when I hated suits. I felt they were just a contraption made to have you look boring. Suits were something drab that I would wear when I need to go on an interview. Remember those days when suits in plus size were just ill fitting and only in black, beige or the occasional charcoal? I must say that plus size suits have come a loooooonnnnnngggggg way. Once something that I would just avoid in stores, now it is something that I not only want to wear, but I look amazing in.

I love plaid, it a definitely a mainstay in my wardrobe, so when I saw this plaid suit from Eloquii, I was immediately drawn to it. I have tons of blazers, but this double breasted version is super chic. For an added little surprise the pockets have ruffle details and on the sleeves. I am wearing a size 20 in the blazer, and it had plenty of room in the arms. My biggest concern with jackets is having enough room along the back to ensure that I don't feel restricted. This was a perfect fit for me. All that was needed was to push up the sleeves and I was ready to go.

The pants are Eloquii's Kady pants (which I love), and the length on these were perfect. When it comes to my dress pants, I favor ones that hit at my ankle or slightly below. I wear a 16 in the Kady, and these had plenty of room in the thigh without feeling tight. What I also love about the Kady is that I can wear these high up on my waist so that I can wear a cute crop top like the one here and not feel overly exposed.

With these being separates, I can easily wear the blazer alone with one of my favorite dresses, and pair the pants with a tee and sneakers. Not only are plaid suits big on the runway this season, but it's always a versatile piece that will never go out of style. Since I was running around attending events that day, I went with my slides from Aldo that I love so much.
