Olive You

Though I am not the biggest fan of the color green, there is something about olive that I just can not stay away from. It started when I had my first pair of Timberland field boots in cognac and olive that really had me hooked on the color. Throughout the years, olive is definitely a color that is a fall go to for me. I have jackets, pants, skirts, and even dresses all in olive. So when I spotted this sporty little number at the Addition Elle Pop Up during NYFW, I ordered her immediately.

This cutie of a dress went down the runway for Addition Elle this past September. It's a part of their collaboration with plus size model Jordyn Woods for their Love & Legend line. The dress definitely speaks to my athleisure side with the stripes, but it has the girly vibe with the ruffles on the sleeves. I'm wearing a 2X and it's soft and stretchy. The zipper detail gives you the option to show as much or as little as you would like.

Now this is described as a tunic, but since I'm on the short side, I was able to wear it as a mini dress. Now if you don't feel comfortable wearing something this short, definitely throw this on with your favorite skinnies, or a cute pair of leggings.

With the ruffles on the sleeve of the dress, I thought it would be a good idea to pair the dress with my Fenty by Rihanna bow sneakers. The sneakers definitely play on the fun and cutesy vibe of the dress being that they are made of satin and have bows. I've owned these sneakers since they dropped earlier this year and every time I wear them I receive tons of compliments. These sneakers are my go to when I rock anything olive, so you will be seeing these a lot this fall. I ended out my look with a green lippie and my favorite go to handbag, the Quilted Affair crossbody from Rebecca Minkoff.

Question of the day to my lovers is what's your favorite olive item? Share in the comments!!!
